The purpose of the Northwestern MN Synod is to nurture a Christ-centered climate conducive to healthy, mission-focused congregations and their ministries throughout the world.

 

Our History

Immanuel Lutheran was first organized in 1891 with the help of German immigrants. Our present sanctuary which was built in 2003, sits partially on the site of the 1st wooden church.

Over the years youth ministries and music ministries have always been an emphasis at Immanuel. Our history is full of youth groups such as Sunday School, Luther League, Vacation Bible School, and youth conventions.

Musically, Immanuel has been blessed with choirs throughout the years and in the early 1920’s even had a sixteen-piece band.
